Front Range Colorado Living

Thinking of moving to Colorado but not sure where to call home?

Depending on your lifestyle, The Front Range of Colorado has numerous towns and diverse cities to choose from!

To help you pick the best location, we have compiled the 7 Best Places to live along the Colorado Front Range.

Best Places To Live in Colorado #1 – Town of Castle Rock

Town of Castle Rock

One of our favorite places along the Front Range of Colorado is the Town of Castle Rock.

Nestled between Colorado Springs and Denver, Castle Rock has an abundance of shops, restaurants, and nearby outdoor activities.

Located in Douglas County (The Richest County in Colorado), the Town of Castle Rock is recognized as one of the 10 fastest growing cities in the United States.

Although the Town of Castle Rock is more of a small city, it is truly one of the best places to live and enjoy a quiet small-town/city atmosphere! (2021)

Best Places To Live in Colorado #2 – City of Fort Collins

On the north side of Colorado, the City of Fort Collins ranks very high on our list of best places to live.

Home to Colorado State University (CSU) and the CSU Rams, Fort Collins is a very desirable place to call home.

In comparison to other cities along the Front Range, Fort Collins has far more lakes and recreational water activities. It also has an abundance of shops, bars, and restaurants.

The City of Fort Collins was also just rated #48 on the 50 Best Places To Live in the United States by CBS News!

Best Places To Live in Colorado #3 – Town of Monument

Located just north of Colorado Springs, the Town of Monument / Tri-Lakes is one of our favorite small towns along the Front Range.

With easy access to both Colorado Springs and Denver, Monument has a lot to offer anyone looking to escape the city limits.

Although the town is fairly small, it has an abundance of hiking trails, nearby lakes, and direct access to the National Forest!

Best Places To Live in Colorado #4 – Town of Parker

The best suburb of Denver Metro is the Town of Parker. This great little spot, located along Highway-83 on the south east side of Denver, has a lot of amenities without all the noise and congestion of Central Denver.

With easy access to Denver International Airport, the Denver Tech Center, and E-470, the Town of Parker is honestly one of the top suburbs in the Denver Metro Area.

Best Places To Live In Colorado #5 – City of Colorado Springs

Homes For Sale Colorado Springs

The City of Colorado Springs is the second largest city in the State of Colorado and is projected to become the largest city around 2036.

Colorado Springs is well known for its pristine views of the Colorado Front Range, including Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods.

Compared to Denver, the City of Colorado Springs is far less congested and offers direct access to numerous parks, trails, and outdoor recreation areas.

Best Places To Live In Colorado #6 – City of Boulder

The City of Boulder is a very unique place to live compared to other destinations along the Colorado Front Range.

Home to Colorado University – Boulder (CU) and the CU Buffs, the City of Boulder is a fun and active place to settle down. Located next to the Flat Irons, there are numerous places to go hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing.

If you are passionate about environmental initiatives, politics, art, and cultural movements, then the City of Boulder may be a good fit!

Best Places To Live in Colorado #7 - City of Denver

Downtown Denver

Last but not least, if you are looking for a high-rise condo with lots of entertainment and nearby activities, Downtown Denver is at the top of the list.

As the biggest city in the State of Colorado, The Mile High City is home to numerous restaurants and bars, shopping districts, museums, theme parks, art districts, concerts, events, sports teams, and night life.

Although it can be very congested, there is never a short supply of things to do and new places to explore.
